Experienced, dedicated, & hard-working individual with a demonstrated history of working at Director level in the sports events industry with a particular interest in Partnerships & Account Management. Skilled in Project Management, Stakeholder Management, Sponsorship & Sales, Partnerships Management, Event Planning & Coordination, and Leadership Communications. Sports enthusiast, strategic thinker, team player, meticulous planner, and efficient operator with multiple years in the sports events industry. Strong education background with a Master of Science (MSc) in Sport & Exercise Psychology from the University of Roehampton.
As a Senior Partnerships Manager at IHR – In-house Recruitment, I work closely with founders and leaders of recruitment suppliers to provide them with access to the largest and most inclusive community of in-house recruiters in the UK. I help them identify and showcase their solutions to over 20,000 members who benefit from our live and virtual events, digital content, forums, and directories. With 15 years of overall experience in business development, operations, and consultancy, I have a track record of delivering strategic and commercial outcomes for multiple industries, such as motion picture, hospitality, digital marketing, and video streaming. I enjoy building long-term relationships with clients and partners, and finding innovative ways to grow their businesses and markets.
Having been a part of IHR for the last 2 years, I have loved working with our TA community, especially at our conferences and live events. The buzz on the day and post event day is beyond explainable and makes me so proud to be part of such an amazing team and industry. I am also very passionate about supporting sales teams; helping everyone be the best they can be.
I’ve been with IHR since the summer of 2022, having worked in agency recruitment for 9 years previous. I am now completely addicted to TA Tech and work alongside an ever-growing group of partners to get them in front of the people they can help the most across IHR’s extensive calendar. I pride myself on being a natural networker, I love to connect dots, and make intros that add value to everyone. For me, there’s no greater satisfaction than delivering a great event experience for our partners – knowing that we have worked together to find the best opportunities for them to solve our communities’ most burning challenges. Outside of work, you’ll find me drumming in my function band The Cavaliers, who have been covering all of your guilty pleasures since 2014 – just don’t interrupt us mid-set to ask if we can play Mustang Sally, it’s not happening! I also love Non-League football and I’m a bit of a history buff – if you’d like to just book a call to discuss the Anglo-Saxons or Titanic conspiracy theories, I’ll clear my calendar for you!
I’ve been at IHR since February 2023, before working here i have worked in Sales, Agency Recruitment and Events. Being at our live events or networking with new people and finding different ways to work together is something i love doing at IHR. Originally from Stoke i moved to London 7 years ago. When i go back home i enjoy going to see my beloved Port Vale – although sometimes that can be painful. I used to run at England level athletics winning 3 national titles for the 800m but these days you will find in the local pub watching any kind of sports with my mates, a bit of a difference.
