Gaining a competitive advantage against agencies and providing a good candidate experience were among the topics discussed by the attendees of our SME In-house Recruitment breakfast event hosted by Hiring Hub.
The day started off with our two guest speakers sharing the strategies their SMEs have taken to ensure a positive candidate experience, followed by a first roundtable discussion about the difficulties of taking full ownership of the recruitment process in the face of agencies and reluctant hiring managers. The second part of the day saw Hiring Hub overviewing the British talent market under the threat of Brexit, and a second discussion followed on the steps in-house recruiters could take to gain better control of their talent sourcing process.
